Hulk Hogan cause of death: A week after the sudden passing of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, medical officials have now confirmed what caused his death.
As reported by ‘People’, the 71-year-old icon died due to a heart attack, known medically as acute myocardial infarction.

While fans knew Hogan had battled health issues in the past, it has now come to light that he was also quietly dealing with leukemia and a heart condition called atrial fibrillation, which causes an irregular heartbeat. His leukemia diagnosis was not public before his death.
Hogan passed away on July 24 in Florida. WWE confirmed the news shortly after with an official statement that read: “WWE is saddened to learn that WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has passed away. One of pop culture’s most recognisable figures, Hogan helped WWE achieve global recognition in the 1980s. WWE extends its condolences to Hogan’s family, friends, and fans.”
Tributes began pouring in from fellow wrestlers and fans around the globe. Wrestling superstar John Cena honored Hogan by posting a legendary photo from WrestleMania 3, the moment where Hogan lifted and slammed the massive Andre the Giant in front of thousands of fans. That event became one of the most unforgettable scenes in wrestling history.
Charlotte Flair, another wrestling star, shared an emotional message remembering Hogan’s kindness during a personal crisis.
“When I nearly lost my dad 8 years ago, one of the few people who was there for all of it was Hulk Hogan. My heart breaks for Nick and Brooke. Rest in peace, brother,” she wrote.
